Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish insists his players will not relax for their final league game of the season despite already securing a Blue Square Bet South play-off spot.
The Fleet face in-form Woking at Stonebridge Road on Saturday just days after clinching a play-off place after a 0-0 draw at Thurrock on Bank Holiday Monday.
Although his side have the luxury of knowing promotion remains a possibility via the play-offs, Daish (pictured) is urging his players not to let up against Woking.
Fleet’s opponents have found their form in recent weeks and the game could become increasingly important to Daish as the Cards may emerge as their play-off semi-final rivals next week, if the clubs remain second and third in the table.
If Fleet finish third they will play their play-off semi-final, second leg at home. In the previous meeting between the sides, Woking inflicted a comfortable 3-0 defeat at Kingfield.
Daish added: "We won’t relax this Saturday. We want to continue our form to take into what we hope will be three play-off games."
The only injury concern for Fleet surrounds the fitness of keeper Preston Edwards, who picked up a knock during Monday’s draw.
