possession can get up to seven years in jail

supplying can get a life sentence and an unlimited fine

Prices vary between £3 and £8 depending on types of pill

Risks:

dilated pupils

tightening of jaw muscles

increased heart rate

anxiety and panic attacks

confusion and paranoia

death - there have been 200 ecstasy-related death in the UK since 1996

Ecstasy affects body temperature, increasing the chances of overheating and dehydration

Ecstasy can prevent the body from releasing urine, interfering with the body's salt balance

liver, kidney and heart problems
