Elderly man caught in tender trap

FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue an elderly man after a tender part of his anatomy became trapped in a shower chair at a residential home.

The man’s testicles somehow managed to slip through a water drainage hole in the centre of the chair, leaving him completely stuck. Staff heard his shouts for help.

Four fire officers attended and spent an hour at the home in Chatham performing the precarious operation of unscrewing the chair and then cutting the chair away from the man’s testicles bit by bit.

A spokesman for Medway Fire and Rescue Service said: "We managed to unscrew the chair and put the man in a more comfortable position, while we cut away the chair."
