Rail travellers were today still feeling the brunt of a 24-hour Eurostar strike.

Christmas plans for hundreds of passengers were disrupted after the industrial action started at 10pm last night.

Services between London and Brussels operated by the Channel Tunnel high-speed train company Eurostar are starting and finishing at Lille in northern France.

Eurostar will offer a limited coach service to transfer passengers between Lille and Brussels, but it's warning that both stations will be busy.
