Ex-school governor accused of child sex offences

A former school governor has been charged with rape, indecent assault and gross indecency with a child.

Michael Taylor, 46, of West Street, Hunton, near Maidstone was a former governor at Hunton Primary School.

Taylor was charged with two counts of rape of a child under 15, eight counts of indecent assault and two counts of gross indecency with a child.

He has been bailed until his court date which is yet to be set.

Police confirmed none of the charges are connected to Hunton School and date back to the 1990s.
