The part-exchange scheme at The Chase allowed Amaya Knock to move quickly, to ensure continuity of her business, as it began to expand rapidly, and with the benefit of not incurring estate agency fees.

Amaya said: “I needed a home which was conveniently located to my Dartford shop. The Chase was launched offering spacious house types with beautifully landscaped gardens and so I went to visit and was immediately impressed.”

Amaya runs a Dartford cake firm, The Sweet Cake Fairy, and needed a dedicated area at home which she could set aside for her business.

Having a new home, compared with an older style, has brought with it inevitable savings on heating bills and by buying a Ward Homes’ property, Amaya also has an exclusive five-year warranty on fixtures and fittings in addition to the standard 10-year NHBC warranty.

Prices at The Chase start from £449,995 for a four-bedroom home.

Amaya, who has lived with her family at The Chase for over a year, added: “The property we purchased is a Rillington house type and when potential buyers come to site and want to see one inside, I am happy to accommodate and let them appreciate how beautiful my home is and how Ward Homes has designed a property with a very flexible layout to suit all lifestyles.”

Ward Homes offers a range of incentives to help purchasers including Help to Buy.
