Maidstone United booked their place in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy after coming from behind to dramatically beat Cray Wanderers 2-1 at Hayes Lane on Saturday.

The Stones made it five games without defeat as they overcame the Wands with goals in stoppage time from Danny Hockton and Tommy Whitnell.

Mark Willy had put the hosts ahead on 53 minutes but two last-gasp headers ensured Stones won back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Tonbridge Angels' 2-0 Trophy victory at home to Enfield Town was their eighth game without defeat.

Sonny Miles opened the scoring on the half-hour and Danny Walder made the game safe on the stroke of half-time.

Margate crashed out 2-1 at home to AFC Hornchurch.

The visitors took the lead inside four minutes through Martin Tuohy and went on to dominate the first half, though Gate levelled midway through the second half through Curtis Robinson's looping header.

However in the final minute, just as it looked like a replay at Bridge Avenue would be required, a cross deflected off Elliot Styles' head and into the net to send the Essex side through.

Folkestone Invicta and Thamesmead Town will do it all again at Bayliss Avenue on Tuesday night after a stalemate at the Buzzlines Stadium on Saturday.
