The family of a man who has been missing for almost a week have issued an appeal to help find him.
Peter Henderson was last seen shortly after midnight on Tuesday in the Pear Tree Walk area of Newington, near Sittingbourne.
The 65-year-old’s daughter, Jenny Henderson, has told KentOnline it is out of character for her father to not be seen or heard from for this period of time.
“All the family are upset and worried and concerned about him,” the 34-year-old said.
“It's very out of character. I usually see him once or twice a day most days. I only live around the corner from him so we pop in and he pops over.
“It's not a day that goes by that we don't see or hear from him, and he's not done something like this before.
“I've given the police every kind of possible idea I could have and they've searched all those places.”
Mr Henderson, who is retired from a career in telecommunications, lives alone in Newington and is white, around 5ft 10ins, with light grey combed-over hair.
He also has a grey short beard, wears glasses and was believed to be wearing a raincoat, shoes, and a backpack, the colours of which are unknown.
Asked if the family had a message for her father, Ms Henderson said: “Get in touch, we're all very concerned and we want you to come home.”
Anyone with information about Mr Henderson’s whereabouts should call Kent Police on 999 quoting 21-0434.
