The sister of cafe owner Andrew Cresswell says she believes the police are doing all they can to catch his killer.
Sue Harris, 49, Mr Cresswell’s younger sister, says the family are focusing on how he lived and not how he died.
Mr Cresswell, 51, was found dead at Pivington Mill industrial estate near Pluckley, where he owned a cafe, on November 11 last year.
A post mortem examination revealed he had been hit over the head.
Mrs Harris said: “I am hoping justice will be done.”
She said: “The police have been brilliant. They’re doing a good job and they’re keeping us informed. I think they are doing all they can really.”
Mrs Harris, who lives in St Albans, has been coming to Ashford regularly to sort out her brother’s possessions, which included a vintage car which has gone to a family member and his aviation finds, which have been donated to the Lashenden Air Warfare Museum at Headcorn.
He was a keen aviation historian.
Mr Cresswell’s funeral at Charing Crematorium two weeks ago was attended by hundreds of mourners and music included the Dam Busters theme.
Mrs Harris said: “Having the funeral was such a huge relief.”
Five men arrested in November in connection with Mr Cresswell’s death are on police bail until the end of April.
