The family of a teenager murdered in Faversham have paid tribute to him.

Adam Beaney, 19, died after an incident in the Recreation Ground in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Adam, a former pupil of Whitstable Community College, later went on to study Business and IT at Sheppey College.

He worked as a warehouse worker and in a local shoe shop.

Adam and his one younger brother and two sisters lost their mother unexpectedly when Adam was nine.

He had recently moved into a new home with his grandmother and had a loving relationship with his girlfriend Alicia.

His dad Tommy said he was always laughing - and loved life.

He added: "He had his whole life ahead of him and now he’s gone, we miss him terribly.

"I was so proud of the way he looked out for his younger sisters and brother when my wife died. I couldn’t have asked for a better son. We are thinking of him every day.”
