POLICE are appealing for information after 10 strawberry tunnels containing strawberry plants were set alight at a Kent farm.

The damage caused to the 300m-long plastic tunnels has been estimated at £1,000. The strawberries growing beneath them were destroyed.

The incident took place at Court Lodge Farm, Yalding, between 5pm on Friday and 6.30am on Saturday.
