FIREFIGHTERS were this afternoon called to a blaze at a barn at Offham, near West Malling.
Fire crews from Maidstone and Larkfield were sent to the burning building at Kentfield Farm, Tower Hill, at about 12.50pm after a report that straw stored inside the building had caught alight.
By 2pm the firefighters had contained the blaze and only a small area was still burning.
The cause is unknown but an investigation is under way.
