Fatal crash woman is named

A WOMAN who was fatally injured when her car mounted a kerb and collided with a wall has been named by police.

Eileen Walsh from Bishop Butt Close, Orpington, was at the wheel of her silver Mazda when the accident happened in Repton Road at around 11.40am on January 4.

The 72-year-old was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.

An 76-year-old woman in the front passenger seat received serious injuries and remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Catford on 020 8284 1574.
