FRIENDS of a murdered Hells Angels biker from Bromley have paid tribute to him.
Gerard Tobin's girlfriend, Rebecca Smith, said he had given her the best five years of her life.
She said: "I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks and love to all that have supported me and our club at this awful time.
"Thank you to all for your kind words, respects, sentiments and tributes. A hole that can never be filled has been left in the lives and hearts of so many. Gerry was my life."
Mr Tobin was shot dead on the M40 in Warwickshire on Sunday in what police believe was a targeted attack.
He was returning from the Bulldog Bash biker event and was travelling in convoy with two other motorcyclists.
Marcus Berriman, president of Hells Angels London, said Mr Tobin had the heart of a lion and a soul filled with compassion and selflessness.
He said: "He was a hard-working and well-respected motorcyclist mechanic who was not only loving and caring towards Rebecca but also towards his family and friends.
"His charming personality and quick-witted humour always kept everyone smiling."
Mr Tobin, who was 35 and lived in Mottingham, worked at Warr's Harley-Davidson dealership, in Mottingham Road.
He was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and moved to Alberta, in western Canada before returning to the UK 10 years ago.
Detectives are trying to trace a dark coloured Rover 600 series car in connection with the investigation.
Anyone with information should call police on 01926 415581 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
