Panic over girls, Orlando Bloom has denied national magazine and newspaper reports that he and his girlfriend Miranda Kerr are engaged.

Hollywood heart-throb Orlando, who went to St Edmund’s School in Canterbury and whose mother Sonia lives in the city’s St Alphege Lane, began a romance with Australian supermodel Miranda, 25, earlier this year.

Last week, rumours of an imminent wedding began to circulate, fuelled by a report in an Australian newspaper.

But a representative of the Victoria’s Secret lingerie model refuted the claims and said the story was false and misleading.

Orlando, who is 31, has also denied they are engaged and says he has no plans to marry.

He has a string of film hits behind him, including Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings, and made his West End debut last year in In Celebration.
