MORRIS dancers paid tribute to their friend Peter Taylor by performing his favourite dance on the day of his funeral.
The East Kent Morris Men paid tribute to Mr Taylor, who died from Legionnaires disease on September 15, by dancing in costume to The Rose Tree.
Family and friends gathered at St Monica's Catholic Church in Dymchurch to say goodbye to the 63-year-old retired teacher and accordion player from St Mary's Bay, near Hythe.
The church service was followed by a burial at New Romney. It is believed Mr Taylor contracted the disease during a trip to France with the Morris Men. He leaves a widow, Frances.
