Fire breaks out at Headcorn bakery

Two fire crews were called to a bakery in Headcorn this afternoon after a fire started in a cooker.

The fire, which had spread to an extractor fan, started at around 2.30pm in the bakery in the High Street.

Crews from Maidstone fire station spent around an hour and a half using breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the small blaze.
