Train services coming into Maidstone have been disruputed by a line-side fire.

This morning's minor blaze was sparked at West Malling and has caused delays between Ashford International and Otford, via Maidstone East.

The London-bound line has been completely closed while engineers work to restore services.

Trains are being diverted via Paddock Wood and delays are expected as a result.

Kent Fire and Rescue have not been called to the scene.
