Firefighters have been called to a fire at a gas mains in Greenhithe.

Two pumps from Dartford fire station attended the call in London Road, close to the McDonald's restaurant.

Engineers were able to isolate the gas supply, which stopped the fire.

A section of London Road has currently been closed by police.

The blaze took place shortly before noon today.
