An old horse who fell over in her stable was given a helping hand by firefighters when she couldn't get back up.
The 32-year-old nag fell and got stuck in the stable doorway.
Firefighters from Medway fire station and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service's (KFRS) specialist animal rescue team, based in Faversham, helped her to her feet.
She was later happily trotting around the field opposite her stable, in Lower Hartlip Road, Hartlip.
A spokesman for KFRS, said: "The horse, which was almost 33-years-old, had got her head and her front legs outside of the stable, but the rest of her body was inside and she just couldn't get up.
"She'd been laying on the floor for quite some time so her back legs had gone numb - each time we went to lift her and stand her up, her back legs buckled.
"It was quite and unusual job, but it was nice to see her back on her feet, it took about an hour for the feeling to come back in her legs enough for her to stand up."
