A young woman driver had to be cut from her car after an accident with a bus.

She was driving in Church Road, Willesborough, Ashford, when the accident happened at 7pm on Thursday.

Fire crews from Ashford were called.

A spokesman said: "The woman was not badly injured but was complaining of neck and back pain so we removed the roof of the car to get her out."

She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital by ambulance.

No one on the bus was injured.
