FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze which broke out in a sports shop near Borough Green early this morning.

Fire crews were called out to the Pro Shop Golf Club in Seven Mile Lane at about 8.30am after the first floor of the two-storey building caught light.

Firefighters from Larkfield, Sevenoaks and Maidstone tackled the flames.

A spokeswoman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: “There are no reports of any casualties."
