Does an assault course which requires you to jump, climb, crawl and have nerves of steel - sound like your idea of fun?
The indoor obstacle challenge that took the nation by storm on our TV screens has come to life at Dockside, Chatham, and opened this afternoon.
We were the first to try the huge obstacle course
Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park is based at the former Dickens World attraction at Chatham Dockside after it closed in 2016.
The unit has remained empty until now, but this is all part of a big development which will see a KFC, bowling alley and Costa opening on the site.
The adventure park is suitable for both adults and children aged five and over. Children under 12 need an adult on site and those aged 12-16 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
There are two course for ninjas to try – an inflatable course is more suited to the younger participants.
Chris Kamara, English former professional football player and presenter of ITV's Ninja Warrior, was there for the very first session.
He said: "The people of Chatham will absolutely love it, you cannot fail to fall in love with Ninja warrior.
"The adventure park is for all the family it's just great.
"Anyone can do it or you can be an expert, there are not many sports where you can do that.
"We've got some ninjas here tonight from the show and they will be showing some of the kids how it's done."
Kelly Tolhurt, MP for Rochester and Strood, met with the general manager and staff on their opening night.
She said: "I think we have a vibrant community here on the Chatham Maritime site - we have people living here, working here and it's just a really nice place to be.
"This is the accumulation of massive regeneration project when the Dockyard shut and it's great to have Ninja Warrior here, it's something that's in demand."
However, as the country moves to Plan B on Monday, December 13, there are fears businesses could once again be impacted.
She added: "The owners here have battled through coronavirus and all of the challenges that brings and are determined to invest in the area which really offers some hope and positivity."
Kelly Tolhurst MP believes it will be great for the development of Chatham Maritime
For those who are up for the ultimate challenge, a full course as seen on the TV show, is set up to test your strength and resilience.
Of course, the highlight is the warped wall. This is the grand finale of the attraction and supposedly one of the most difficult to tackle.
To take part in the more challenging course there is a height restriction of 140cm.
As with many trampoline parks, ninjas must wear reusable Ninja Warrior UK socks on the inflatable course, which are available to buy online or from the reception desk.
The antibacterial socks reduce the amount of sweat transfer to the equipment and keep the site more hygienic. Trainers must be worn at all times on the fixed obstacle course.
The park has a viewing area and cafe for spectators and it is completely free to watch your little ninjas play.
A one-hour time slot will cost £12.50 and can be booked online.
Masks must be worn when walking around the venue but under current guidelines they do not have to be worn on the course due to its physical nature.
