Around a dozen areas of Kent have now been put on flood alert after several days of rain - as forecasters issue a warning for more heavy downpours.
The Environment Agency has issued a total of 52 flood alerts for the region, which advise those living near certain areas to be prepared, as flooding is possible.
Areas covered by Kent's three alerts now include the River Medway; the River Beult; the River Teise; River Bourne, the Hamstreet Arm area; the River Stour and the Eden and Eden Brook.
But there seems to be no let-up in the miserable weather.
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for heavy showers across the south east, including Kent, between 1pm today and noon tomorrow.
A spokesman said: "Up to 10mm of rain may fall in an hour very locally with a few spots receiving 20-30mm through the whole period.
"Please be aware of the likelihood of localised surface water flooding affecting travel on roads at times."
As well as downpours, forecasters are also predicting gusty winds today, some perhaps with hail and the odd lightning strike.
Scattered showers will become more likely inland during the day, with the heaviest ones continuing along the coast.
