Flowers laid for Baby P

A tribute to Baby P, the toddler who died after months of abuse, has been laid in the town centre.

Flowers with a note that reads "An innocent and defenceless life so cruelly taken from this world. God Bless darling play with the angels in out hearts forever" have been placed at the Clock Tower in Sheerness town centre.

Baby P, from Haringey, north London, died in August last year.

He had 50 injuries. Two men and his mother were convicted of being involved in his death.
