Kent is set to be blanketed in fog tonight, with forecasters placing an official warning for the whole of the county.

Fog will form this evening from 7pm, and last until 10am tomorrow, the experts from the Met Office predict.

There are fears of a disruption to transport during this time.

A spokesman said the fog would become widespread overnight into Tuesday morning, with visibility down to 50m in places.

It is expected to clear early on Tuesday morning, but some patches could remain well into the morning.
