There were eerily misty scenes in Kent this Halloween morning - but the foggy start has given way to unseasonably warm and sunny conditions.
Parts of the county were shrouded in patchy fog, making driving conditions difficult in some areas.
But it did not last, with temperatures creeping up to highs of up to 17c or 18c this afternoon - several degrees above the October average of 12c.
It comes two years after Kent's warmest Halloween on record, when the mercury hit a balmy 23.5c in Gravesend.
