Football club's tractor stolen

A £10,000 tractor has been taken from a football club.

Witnesses are being sought after the blue tractor was stolen from Oakwood football club in Otham, Maidstone.

The tractor, which is made by New Holland and is a model TC 40 D, was used to mow the football pitch and was taken sometime between the evening of Sunday, September 16 and the morning of Tuesday, September 18.

The offenders broke into the container where the tractor was being stored. A trailer and mower were also taken at the same time and later recovered by police in Kingswood.
