Four young men have been charged with burglary after a raid on a jewellers at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.

The four, three of whom are teenagers, were arrested following a police pursuit after the raid at the Ernest Jones jewellers, in the early hours of last Wednesday, December 17.

The four are, a 16-year-old from Islington, London, who cannot be named, Tyrone Tassell, 20, from Walthamstow, London, Sunnie Sacco, 18, of Ilford, Essex, and John Smith, 18, from Holloway, London.

All four appeared before Medway Magistrates Court the day after the raid and were given conditional bail to re-appear before the court on Friday, February 13.
