FOUR people have now appeared before a court accused of murdering a 47-year-old father of three children.

Mark Witherall died in hospital on March 8 after he was found with serious injuries outside his home in King Edward Street, Whitstable, on January 27 this year.

The four accused include jobless Mark Elliott, 20, and kitchen worker Carley Firminger, 19, both of Sandpiper Road, Whitstable, who made their first appearance at Canterbury Magistrates' Court today.

The pair join Curtis Delima, 18, an unemployed man, of Regent Street, Whitstable, and a 15-year-old boy, also from the town who cannot be named for legal reasons, who first appeared in court last Friday.

Elliott, Delima and the youth are also charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

The quartet charged with his murder are due to appear before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.
