KENT Police have renewed an appeal for information following an incident in which a woman pedestrian was killed.
The tragedy happened on the A26 at Teston, near Maidstone, at around 12.30pm on Saturday, February 4.
Joyce Denning, 80, who had lived in Teston for 27 years and was an active member of the local church, died in the collision.
A police spokeswoman said: "Two cars appear to have been racing along the A26 towards Tonbridge. One of the cars, a silver Honda Civic, struck 80-year-old local lady who died at the scene.
"The driver and the passenger of the Honda were both been arrested. The driver of the second car, a red Volkswagon Golf, was arrested at the scene of the collision.
"Police are asking anyone who may have information that will help them with their enquiry to come forward, even if they have already phoned in and left a message. Officers are concerned that, due to a fault with the telephone system, some calls may have been missed."

* A 23-year-old man has appeared in court accused of causing death by dangerous driving. Two other people arrested at the scene of the incident have been bailed by police until April 4 pending further inqiries.
