Four girls were left shaken after a ride collapsed at a village fun day.

Bystanders helped the girls, who had been on the ride at the time.

It happened as villagers enjoyed the Headcorn Day fete and fair in Headcorn on Sunday.

One of the girls said she had been enjoying the ride when she felt a tipping sensation. "Then I just heard screaming" she said.
