A house party caused chaos after it was gatecrashed by teenagers believed to have seen it on Facebook.

Police were twice called to Arkley Road, Herne Bay, after the party, which was held by a teenage boy at his dad's house, threatened to spiral out of control.

Neighbours told how gangs of youths spilled out on to the street late into the night, drinking and shouting and reportedly damaging cars.

Officers were first called to the house at 8.30pm after a group of teenagers turned up uninvited.

The youths left the party, but police had to rush back at 10pm to reports of further disturbances and cars being damaged.

Eight teenagers were questioned at the scene and 45 cans of lager were seized.

The gatecrashers were dispersed from the scene and the boy's dad, who is believed to have only moved in last week, was given a talking to by police.
