Generator stolen from school grounds

THIEVES have broken into a secure compound at a Kent school complex and stole an expensive generator.

Police are appealing for information after a blue Stephill generator, valued at approximately £1,500, was taken from a fenced building site in the grounds of The Schools at Somerhill, Tonbridge.

The theft occurred overnight between Wednesday January 16 and Thursday January 17, and it appears the fence was forced to get access to the generator.
