The biggest names from the world of animated movies show off their cutting-edge characters at Canterbury Anifest 2012.
Teams from DreamWorks, Pixar and Aardman Animations will talk about their models and CGIs.
Film lovers can see pieces from Aardman’s latest feature film The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists as well as the classic creatures of Ray Harryhausen, the American stop-motion animation pioneer.
Festival director Dan Richards said: “With this year’s Anifest we wanted to produce a festival not just for Canterbury but for a national and international audience. We’ve spent six months putting together a dream list and feel we’ve achieved an all-star lineup. It is an opportunity to see characters as well as hear from the animators behind Toy Story and Madagascar.”
It takes place at Augustine House, Canterbury, from Friday, October 5 to Saturday, October 6. Weekend admission £32, concessions £20. Box office 01227 787787.
