BUYING a 53 series registration is “EA53 EEE PEASY” direct from the DVLA.

According to the agency, this is because from May 1-31, the entire 53 series database will be opened up for sale offering a choice of more than eight million registrations with prices from just £399 including VAT and assignment fees.

From June onwards, there will still be a huge selection of 53 combinations available to buy as DVLA will continue to offer for sale more than one and a half million 53 personalised registrations, enabling motorists to gear up for the 53 series well in advance of the “on the road” date of September 1.

Louise Pierpoint, DVLA’s publicity manager, said: “With millions of 53 registration combinations available, I am certain that everybody can find their perfect number.”

Louise added: “Whether you wish to promote your business, spell your name, initials, favourite hobby or even create a fun message, the choice is phenomenal.”

For those who prefer a more traditional approach to personalising their vehicle, an additional 14 million prefix style registrations are available from as little as £250.
