Explore 80 million years of history and enter a competition to win hundreds of pounds worth of trainers or walking gear with Explore Kent and the KM Group.
Thanet's very own 'Rock Doc' - the celebrated geologist Dr Alasdair Bruce - will be leading a party of walkers around Kingsgate Bay, where local residents can discover the area's hidden history, including its fascinating flints and fossils.
Places are limited for the gentle two-hour walk next Sunday (March 7) and booking is essential. To reserve a place, call 0870 2646111 or visit www.kent.gov.uk/explorekent.
The 'Rock Doc' tour is one of dozens of walks organised each week as part of the NHS-funded 'Walk to Win' campaign. Run by Explore Kent - part of Kent County Council's Countryside Access Service - the initiative aims to encourage people in Thanet to exercise more through walking.
Thanet residents who sign up for information from the campaign will also be entered into a monthly prize draw to win £250 vouchers for trainers or walking equipment for themselves or their family.
To be in with a chance of winning, call 08458 247600 or visit www.kent.gov.uk/explorekent, where a full list of guided walks in Thanet, as well as interactive maps that allow walkers to plan their own routes, are also available.
Alternatively, text explorekent, followed by a space and your house number and postcode, to 07950 080802.
Entries must be received by March 31 and entrants must live within the Thanet area (postcodes CT7-CT12 inclusive). For full terms and conditions, visit www.kent.gov.uk/walktowinterms.
