A man was amazed to discover a woman’s face formed from dust inside his upright vacuum cleaner.
Shocked Tej Matharu from Mulberry Road, Godinton Park, Ashford, said he was in bed when he suddenly noticed the features staring back at him from his 1,900 watt Power 3 Vax.
The 53-year-old told the Kentish Express: “It’s not something I do, looking at the vacuum cleaner to find images in the dust, but it was in my bedroom and I could identify it immediately.
"I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.
“I don’t tend to go around looking for faces in things - especially vacuum cleaners - but it’s so very clear - a fully formed 3D image."
Intriguingly the father-of-one had been to the boot fair at Orbital Park the day before and bumped into a psychic who told Mr Matharu that they could draw an image of a deceased loved-one.
The educational sales consultant, who says he can also make out the image of a baby in the dust, continued: “It was strange that the very next day the face appeared but I do not recognise it.
"You can see the shading of the face and clearly make out the eyes, lips and hair. It’s as clear as anything.”
He added: “I think what I’d like to do now is try and display it in a gallery because this is something that really engages the mind.
“I’ve got a very strong feeling that people will want to look at this because it’s quite distinctively apparent.
"I would be very interested in speaking to someone in this field to see what they have to say on this formation.”
Finding faces in inanimate objects has become big business for those who discover them.
A jelly bean bearing Kate Middleton’s face is expected to fetch £500 on internet auction site eBay.
Jesus is the most common person to feature in objects like socks, toast, a field, a biscuit, a tea towel, a Kit-Kat, a frying pan and in a jar of Marmite.
