Gillingham will face RUFC Calais as part of their four day training camp in France.
The game has been hastily arranged following the cancellation of the fixture against Le Havre.
Calais, from the French third division, will now fill the void on Saturday, July 25 with the game taking place at the modern Stade De L’Epopee with a 6pm kick-off.
The club rose to fame in the 2000 season when they reached the French equivalent of the FA Cup final, beating the likes of Strasbourg and Bordeaux on the way, before losing to Nantes 2-1.
The game will be the highlight of their trip to France which will see Mark Stimson’s side train at the Le Touquet sports complex.
Stimson (pictured) takes his team to Folkestone this Saturday as they open their pre-season campaign.
