Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler wants his team to sharpen up when they meet Morecambe.
The Gills failed to finish off Swindon on Tuesday when they had the chance and Hessenthaler (pictured) doesn’t want his team to be so kind at Morecambe on Saturday.
He knows he has a team capable of scoring goals but wants to see an improvement following the blank at Swindon.
"I can’t be too critical of the boys but we do need to improve on the ball at times in the final third," said Hessenthaler.
"I go to Morecambe upbeat following Tuesday’s performance. They will be wary of us because we have scored a lot of goals away from home.
"We didn’t (score) at Swindon but we made chances. Perhaps a little bit of criticism was that we got into some areas where perhaps we should have shot but we over-passed and gave it away."
Hessenthaler must decide whether to change his team as Joe Martin is back from suspension and both Andy Frampton and Danny Kedwell could start after recovering from injuries.
