Gillingham were unable to capitalise on a number of great goalscoring chances at Swindon Town and paid the price.

Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler had little reason to complain after his side matched hosts Swindon and were unlucky not to have taken maximum points themselves from the League 2 fixture.

Chris Whelpdale hit the bar for the Gills and Luke Rooney struck the post, while Danny Kedwell also missed a great opportunity from close range, on a frustrating night for Hessenthaler's side and the 400 away supporters.
