Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler admitted he was unlikely to be making any moves in the transfer market.
Hessenthaler (pictured) considered drafting in loan recruits last week, but with the injury list shortening he’s hoping the current crop of players can deliver.
He said: "Last week you look at it as a manager and think about whether the players are going to take it on board and push up.
"If they were not then we would have to make changes, but we have a squad where we would have to juggle it about a bit before we could do anything.
"The injuries don’t help but looking at it we are closer to getting a few more back now.
"Dennis Oli has got some more minutes under his belt and definitely looked brighter. Danny Spiller is probably only a week away and Danny Jackman is training again now."
Remaining out long-term are Simon King and Garry Richards, while Andy Barcham is still sidelined.
"We’re not talking about bringing anyone in at the moment," continued Hessenthaler.
"We are capable and know we are capable of it. That’s our problem. We are not consistent enough and it’s the away record which is the problem.
"We need to make sure we can turn that away form around quickly."
