Andy Hessenthaler will be forced into a reshuffle at the back after captain Andy Frampton collected his fifth booking of the season on Saturday.

Frampton will face an automatic one-match ban and misses Saturday’s League 2 game against Aldershot.

It leaves Hessenthaler to choose between Garry Richards and Simon King as replacement.

Richards is expected to be fit again after missing out at the weekend with a hamstring injury while King, back from a loan stint at Plymouth, is also in the frame, despite picking up a minor knee injury, in last week’s reserve outing against West Ham.

“He (Frampton) will miss out unfortunately but I think Garry Richards should be fit,” said Hessenthaler.

“King picked up a little knock but I think he could have played if needed. His knee will settle down in time for next week.”

Young defender Connor Essam could also come into contention, while Charlie Lee and Joe Martin are also capable of filling the central defensive role.
