Dennis Oli could be back in training on Monday but boss Andy Hessenthaler is remaining cautious.
The pacey winger was one of several players reporting to Gillingham physio Steve Allen on Sunday as he looks to get over a troublesome hamstring injury.
Oli has been plagued by the problem all season and his last comeback from injury ended 20 minutes into the FA Cup game against Dover earlier this month.
Hessenthaler said: "He is still having problems with that hamstring and he’s not comfortable. Dennis’ game is about pace and explosion and he’s been held back a bit.
"We’ll assess him on Sunday and if he trains Monday that will be another option for us."
