Manager Mark Stimson and his Gillingham team are aiming to spoil the Carrow Road party on Saturday.

Hosts Norwich sealed promotion to the Championship last weekend and now need just one more point to claim the League 1 title.

The Gills are still chasing their first victory of the season away from Priestfield and Stimson knows the difficult task that his side face.

He said: "We’ve had some massive games and this is probably the biggest of the season. "It’s going to be a test against a team who are already promoted and need a point for the championship.

"We’re looking forward to the match on a fantastic pitch and it’s a game that at the start of the season you look on the fixture list and think, ‘cor, we’re going to Carrow Road’ as it’s a great venue."

Norwich are nine points clear of second-placed Leeds and have lost just twice at home this season. The game has already sold out and the home fans will want the title sealed.

"For any team that wins promotion, the next thing to win is the title and the quicker you do it the better," added Stimson.

"It’s going to be a fantastic atmosphere and we’ve just got to keep that crowd quiet for as long as possible."

How do you think the Gills will fare against Norwich? Can they claim that elusive first away win of the campaign? Have your say below.
