Gillingham boss Mark Stimson knows Sunday’s League 2 semi-final play-off second leg against Rochdale will be tight and he’s looking for a hero.
Stuart Lewis was almost that man on Thursday night in the first leg but a good save from keeper Frank Fielding denied him from scoring what could have been the winner.
Stimson said: “Someone has to stand up and take that responsibility to do that bit of magic or pull that trigger from 25 yards and score.
“If someone scores a goal then the other team has to go chasing after it. We’ll have a game-plan, stick with it and hopefully get the result.
“Stuart Lewis had a good strike at Rochdale and we encourage him to strike the ball.
"Before the game in shooting practice, he is outstanding. He took responsibility and that’s what it’s going to take on Sunday."
