A pervert could be jailed for trying to persuade teenage girls to commit sex acts in a series of telephone calls.

Wayne Satchell was given the warning after admitting five charges of inciting three girls to engage in sexual activity between September 2008 and July last year.

The prosecution did not proceed with five similar charges.

Maidstone Crown Court has been told how the 34-year-old, of Clopton Court, Gillingham, made “graphic sexual requests”, such as asking girls to have sex with him or to “flash” naked pictures of themselves.

Prosecutor Peter Forbes said Satchell claimed he was aged 14 and then 16.

He was in 2003 sentenced to a community rehabilitation order for three offences of indecent assault on two girls.

He was seen touching them at a local ice rink.

Judge Philip St John-Stevens adjourned sentence until October 18 and granted Satchell conditional bail, including not to enter schools or use a mobile telephone.

“These are serious matters and a custodial sentence may be inevitable,” he said. “It is an unusual factual situation.”
