The game has been moved from Priestfield to the club’s training ground at Beechings Cross and the game will also kick-off an hour earlier at 1pm.

Gills groundsman John Plummer is keen to protect the already imperfect playing surface at Priestfield and that prompted a switch in venues for the Combination League fixture.

Gills boss Mark Stimson will name a mixture of senior players and youth team members in the match and Royce (pictured) is likely to get a game, as he has had little match practice of late, due to the form of current first choice ‘keeper Alan Julian.

Other players likely to get some minutes are Luke Rooney, Jack Payne, Rashid Yussuff and Tom Wynter.

Entrance to the game is free for all.
