Gillingham have completed the signing of former Charlton youngster Rashid Yussuff on a one year deal.
The 19-year-oldf former England youth international has been training with the Gills team since the start of pre-season and has featured in all of their key friendly matches.
Yussuff (pictured), known in the game by his middle name Toks, was originally expected to join as a back-up player but with injuries to midfielders Stuart Lewis and Kevin Maher who could start Saturday’s game against Swindon.
The player’s only first team appearance for Chalrton came in the 1-0 FA Cup defeat of Norwich City last season.
Yussuff scored for Gillingham in the 5-0 friendly match against Faversham Town.
