Gillingham have signed MK Dons defender Tom Flanagan on loan until January.
The 20-year-old centre-half played 26 times for the Dons in League 1 last season, scoring three goals.
He came through the ranks at Stadium:mk and captained the Under-18s before making his first-team debut as a late substitute against Carlisle United in February 2010.
Flanagan also made 22 appearances on loan at Kettering Town in 2011.
Gills manager Martin Allen (pictured) was keen to add to his squad with the start of the season now just over two weeks away.
Allen said: "He played 20 odd games for a team in the play-off positions virtually all season and played very well against the team I was managing last year (Notts County).
"He is a young centre back and a good player."
